NCAA Basketball Pre Season Rankings

We are all well aware that a potential NBA lockout is becoming more likely with each day that passes without any resolution being made by the billionaires and millionaires running the league. Its a pathetic situation, the NBA generates $4 billion annually, and the most profitable franchises are too greedy to reasonably spread the wealth to keep less profitable teams afloat. I'm actually getting heated thinking about it, so on another note, we have college ball to look forward to. The NCAA basketball preseason is among us which is a first look at how teams are stacking up. Topping the list in this year's preseason poll conducted by ESPN is wait for it...North Carolina....big surprise. While they may be a consistent powerhouse and are always expected to win on the big stage, they still narrowly fell short last year by not being able to advance past the Final Four. In fact, NC received 30 of a possible 31 votes determining who is favoured to win it, with Kentucky being the only other team to receive a vote. Its hard to argue with those polled considering the lineup NC boasts with Harrison Barnes, Tyler Zeller, and John Henson all  returning, while recruiting two highly touted ballers in James Michael McAdoo and PJ Hairston. When it comes down to March Madness however, all it takes is one bad game to render a season as a failure, so with that being said here's the top 25 teams in the country.
