Ahhh fighting, on skates, being a Toronto boy I breathe hockey. The phenomenon of hockey's tough guys keeping the other team in check is something unique and unlike any other sport. On October 13th, Aaron Asham of the Pittsburgh Penguins fought Jay Beagle of the Washington Capitals and literally put him to sleep, as Asham's gestures after the fight suggest. Jay Beagle, who has a total of 2 NHL fights under his belt was clearly the underdog in this bout. He also took an instigator penalty adding salt to the wound.
